Linkedin Tool Review: UProc for LinkedIn

I love exploring new LinkedIn tools so that I can make recommendations to my coaching students (executives, entrepreneurs and salespeople that want to learn how to use Linkedin to find leads, nurture prospects and close deals).

LinkedIn has a rich and ever-growing ecosystem of inexpensive (and sometimes free!) tools which you can use to achieve your business aims on autopilot: building lists of leads, growing your network, publishing content, sending personalised messages from you, and so on. What is UProc for LinkedIn?

UProc for LinkedIn is a Chrome plugin which promises to “autocomplete any LinkedIn profile you visit, making your life easier.”

What this means in practice is that if you use a Chrome browser and download UProc for LinkedIn you will be able to see extra contact details when viewing a person’s LinkedIn profile.

Extra details that UProc for LinkedIn reveals and adds to a Linkedin profile include:

  • Email: Get their professional email using current Company position.
  • Website: Visit company website without searching on the internet.
  • Phone: Call profile using their company’s phone number.
  • Gender: Get profile gender to segment your contacts.
  • Company address: Click on Company address to get the best route on Google maps.

Consider how useful the above information is as well as the usual information you find on a person’s LinkedIn email. Now you have all the information you need to contact someone via email, phone or mail.

Why should you use UProc for LinkedIn?

UProc for LinkedIn is hugely useful if you use LinkedIn for lead generation and sales prospecting and you find a prospect’s LinkedIn profile contact details are incomplete or maybe not even filled out at all!

This means that if you want to contact them (ring them up or send them an email) you are often forced to go outside of LinkedIn (perhaps using Google or querying your CRM tool) to find an individual’s contact details.

UProc for LinkedIn is a great solution if you want to get a more complete view of an individual on LinkedIn so that you can send a more targeted message without having take a long time to find out more about the person.
